Shelter of Air |
|
2004 Ibaragi,Japan This is a house of multiple chemical sensitivity for husband and wife. Considering chemical contained anything we use everyday life and pollution from daily life, purification level of air is divided and zoned. Because the tolerance to the chemical between the couple is different, their individual space from the middle space is separated. Moreover to avoid the situation of high temperature and humidity when chemical is volatile, designing of air has been done which allows natural ventilation by making sloping space one side with a high ceiling. The Japanese cedar is mostly used for the interior material. The Japanese style veranda with deep eaves gives an impression of spacious area and it is also a place where exposes contaminant to the air and then neutralize a poison. The garden colored by the plant has given some feeling of relaxation. The house-making using the traditional material and the industrial method becomes the hint for the design of this house. |
