House in Iwaki |
|
2006 Iwaki,Japan In order to enjoy outer space all over the whole site, this house has built as one-story house. Not seen as a one block but divided into four different shape and size of boxes and connected into a line. The garage, the bedroom, the bathroom, and the living room and the kitchen are settled in four boxes. Each box is planarly rectangle but all roofs are headed to different directions. Therefore variety of space can be enjoyed in the house. The concavoconvex floor-planning allows to drag green area widely which is better in terms of ventilation and light. Because the height and the direction of the roof in each adjoining box are different, aperture area around the ceiling in the gap of the roofs can be grubbed. It allows to enjoy watching the sky, the sunshine and the moon there. To finish the room interior, the Japanese cedar, the cypress and the plaster are used. |
