2005 Hayama,Japan The site is in the height where it commands a view of the sea and the mountain. Five people from 3 generations live together in this house. This client hopes that the each person who has various value can live together gently. The composition of this house is that there is a quadrangle cylinder in an octagon cylinder. This annular clearance between those two figure creates space for living-dining space on the first floor and bedroom on the second floor. The consecutive doughnut shaped residence space is open towards scenery of eight directions and an individual can find each favorite place.Especially making use of 180° panorama on the first floor, bent of wood was avoided in the consecutive apertured area. Therefore, the central quadrangle cylinder mainly burdens this house as an actual core of the structure and it is visually expressed as it is. |
